New iPhones in works, one may be for Verizon- says WSJ

Everyone had an idea that iPhone 4G is in works these days and will be coming to us later this year but now we have got the confirmation from the Wall Street Journal who not only have confirmed that iPhone 4G is in works but they have also said that Verizon will have its iPhone this time(we have heard that a lot of time as well). Sources claim that the “next iPhone is being manufactured by Taiwanese contract manufacturer Hon Hai Precision Industry,” which just so happens to be the same outfit responsible for crafting all prior iPhones. That’s according to “people briefed on the matter” and sourced by the Wall Street Journal.
iPhone 4G Concept
After all the above speculations Engadget reported that they were informed that the next-generation iPhone would be announced on June 22nd and will be named ‘iPhone HD’. That certainly makes sense given that Apple almost certainly has to up the pixel count in order to rival the EVO 4G, HD2 and all of those other high-res handsets. We cannot say that next iPhone is going to be named that like that but is surely going to be a HD phone.
John Gruber also made some predictions about the iPhone and says that the next model will have an A4-class SoC, a 960 x 640 display, a front-facing camera, and that iPhone OS 4.0 will enable third-party multitasking, well we are glad to hear that from him.
