HP introduces world’s thinnest Ultra-slim Notebooks in Pakistan


HP continued its leadership in the high-growth thin and light notebook category by introducing new Ultra-slim Notebooks in Pakistan today at its media event in Karachi titled, “See Thin in a whole new Light”.

The comprehensive new notebook portfolio from HP includes HP Pavilion dm3, the HP Pavilion TM2 Tablet Notebook, the Mini311 slim and the already launched AMD Based DV2, stylish consumer notebooks that deliver an optimal balance of mobility.

Philip Lau, GM AEC & Pakistan HP said that “The consumer notebook market is red hot right now,” and HP’s Thin and attractively priced notebooks have the potential to resonate with consumers in Asia and become a major driver for the overall PC market in the process.

HP is well positioned to take advantage of this growth with its portfolio of thin and light notebooks that address both businesses and consumers’ computing needs, he opined.

Chua Hwee Koon, vice president, Mobile Business Unit, Personal Systems Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan said that “HP pioneered the ‘thin and light’ category with the introduction of the HP ENVY 133 notebook in June 2008, which was followed by the ‘affordable thin and light’ HP Pavilion dv2 notebook introduced at CES 2009,”. “The addition of these new thin and light notebooks further validates HP’s position as an undisputed leader in notebook design and raises the bar to a new level for the entire thin and light category.”
