Yahoo Selling its Hot Job section to Monster Worldwide

In a latest turn of events internet giant Yahoo is selling its online job searching site HotJobs to rival Monster Worldwide for $225 Million in Cash.

The deal basically forecast the downfall of the Job Sites because of the high inflation rate worldwide. The deal also reflects that the demand for the advertising based jobs has diminished.

Although Yahoo is selling the HotJobs site for a loss because it bought it for $439 Million in 2002 and now selling it for $225 Million but the experts at Yahoo are also of the view that the main focus of the Yahoo which is entertainment and news also gets on the backdrop with the stuff like HotJobs becoming part of the overall Yahoo portfolio.

The Moster.com will take hold of it in between June and Septemeber this year.
