Google these days seems to find itself on the wrong end of the road be it the end of its search operation in China or be it the not so successful Nexus One. The main focus of this post is Nexus One and its falsely claimed touch screen resolution. According to the search engine giants, the Google Phone has a touch screen with 800*480 pixels resolution. Start counting the pixels and you will yourself know the actual resolution.
It turns out that the screen resolution is half of what is officially stated in the phone’s spec sheet. 392*653 pixels is the real deal here, which once again questions Google’s thinking behind terming it as a super-phone. It is because of this very low resolution that users of the first Android 2.1 phone are complaining the blurry nature of text appearing on the display screen. How hurt are you knowing this pretty unpleasant fact?
