Here comes another item for the Apple rumor mill or more specifically iPhone 4G rumor mill. John Gruber of Daring Fireball is the latest entity to take a shot at the possible specifications for the next generation iPhone. According to him, iPhone 4G might be bringing the much needed multi-tasking, 960×640 resolution display screen, A4 processor chip, and of course the front-facing camera.
Here is how Gruber styled the rumored specs while criticizing WSJ’s recent rumor of two iPhone 4G Models – GSM and CDMA:
Keep in mind there’s a big difference between “is” and “appears to be”. And they have no actual details of the next-generation iPhone. Nothing. Not the A4-family CPU system-on-a-chip. Not the 960 × 640 double-resolution display. Not the second front-facing camera. Not even the third-party multitasking in iPhone OS 4. All they have is that there’s going to be a new iPhone this summer, period. Thanks for the scoop, Yukari Iwatani Kane.
If you have been following the iPhone 4G stuff pretty closely, then you will recall that similar speculations have been voiced in the past such as the multitasking one and more. Recent rumors suggest that iPhone 4G will become equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, LED flash, Wireless 802.11n, dual core processor, live video chat and a Magic Mouse like touch-sensitive casing. iPhone 4G is expected to make its debut in July.
How true will these rumors prove to be or you want them to be? Let us know.
