iPhone 4G will do video calls, reveal O2 plans

How significant are carrier plans? Well they are pretty significant from the charges perspective. Guess what, that’s not the only important thing to keep an eye on a carrier plans. A look at the updated plans of O2 for iPhone reveals that the next generation iPhone, iPhone 4G will support video calls.

If you look at O2 tarrifs, it does mention Video calls. As a matter of fact, it will be charging the same as for the audio calls. Probably, a smart move on their end. I will leave it to you folks to decide that.

This recent discovery also means the upcoming iPhone iteration will include a front facing camera. If you follow technologypak regularly, then you would probably see it not as news but as confirmation of previous rumors and discoveries regarding such possibility.

Recent rumors suggest that iPhone 4G will become equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, LED flash, Wireless 802.11n, dual core processor, live video chat and a Magic Mouse like touch-sensitive casing. iPhone 4G is expected to make its debut in July.

Moving away from the rumors, recently 9 to 5 Mac folks, while going through the iPhone 3.2 SDK discovered support for video chat for Apple’s premium phone as well as the iPad.
