It seems as if the iPhone rumor mill is going to be pretty hot, active and busy this time around. The month of June and July is still a fair distance away but the rumors have already started to fly around and are creating quite a buzz. The latest round of rumor with Engadget at the center suggests that the next generation of iPhone will be named iPhone HD and will arrive on 22 June as it has in the past. The closeness of this rumor to reality is examined after the jump.
In light of the recent rumored specification shared by John Gruber as a reaction to WSJ’s report of Apple working on two versions of iPhone, it would only make sense to call the next iteration of Apple’s premium gadget as iPhone HD instead of iPhone 4G, since the phone would provide a 960 × 640 display. Why stop there? There is even a possibility of the iPhone camera capturing HD quality images. Personally I wouldn’t mind getting this rich feature. What about you?
